The value for the money was great - the room was bright, fresh, and clean with a comfortable bed. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the beach and surrounded by restaurants and a bike rental shop. The staff, especially Kwan, were incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel at home.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better is if it was included in the room price.

We had a great time at this hotel! The room was clean and had everything we needed, including strong Wi-Fi and a refreshing AC. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Plus, there were plenty of 7-Elevens nearby for snacks and drinks. The staff, especially Kwan, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even cleaned our room every day!
That the room we originally booked was different from the one we were shown when we arrived. However, the staff quickly resolved the issue and we were happy with the room we ended up staying in.

The rooms at Cha-Am Fish Star were spacious and clean. We had plenty of hot water and drinking water in our room, which was a nice touch. The beds were incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the helpful and friendly lady who worked downstairs, she even gave us a suggestion for transportation back to Bangkok. our stay was enjoyable and we would definitely consider returning.
That breakfast was not included with the room, especially considering the price we paid. It would have been nice to have that option available.

The staff were friendly and efficient, checking me in quickly and ensuring my room was comfortable. The room itself had all the necessary amenities including air conditioning, a TV, and a strong Wi-Fi connection. The location was great, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by shops and bars. I also appreciated the free coffee and breakfast snacks provided by the hotel.
The presence of too many dogs in the area, with some guests reporting issues and even attacks. the noise from the nearby bars played until late at night, which could be bothersome.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by a variety of bars and street eats. The family running the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, with functioning air conditioning. I also appreciated the option of a quieter room in a different building. The free instant coffee and breakfast bread provided a convenient and quick option in the morning. I had a pleasant stay at Fish Star and would recommend it.
One minor drawback was that all the TV channels were in Thai, but considering the location, it was to be expected. Additionally, there were a few noisy nights due to the music playing until 2am in some nearby bars.

I had a great experience at Fish Star in Cha-Am. The room was comfortable and clean, and I got exactly what I expected for the price I paid. The location was fantastic, just a two-minute walk to the beach and close to bike rental shops and numerous restaurants. The best part of my stay was definitely the incredibly kind host who went out of her way to help me, even offering to assist with transportation to the bus station.
One small improvement could be made to the morning meal.

The location of this hotel was perfect for my business trip. It was just a short walk to the beach, which offered nice and peaceful walks after a long day of work. I also appreciated that there was a bike rental shop nearby, making it easy to explore the area. the staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful, always going out of their way to assist me. One of the highlights was when the owner offered to help me reach the bus station, making my departure stress-free.
One of the downsides of my stay was the presence of too many dogs in the area. While I had read online about some potential problems with dogs, I didn't expect it to be an issue during my stay.
